Now a days
people were scared about bomb blast. Sense of forgettable incident was Mumbai
serial blast 1993.In that time Mumbai was shocked by 12powerfull blasts. For occurring
of blasts more than 260 people were died and so many people were injured.
In what, happens at particular time
total country was stunned because of blasts. In
what were, India’s first major , exactly
coordinate serials explosions that caused more than 260 people were died. The
single- attacks resulted in 260 fatalities and 700 injuries.
The attacks were coordinated by
Dawood Ibrahim, don of Bombay based international organized crime. In
December 1992 and January 1993, there was widespread rioting in Mumbai.
At 1:30
pm a power full car bomb was explodes in the basement of Bombay stock exchange.
The 28-story office building housing was severely damaged, and many nearby
office buildings were damage. 30 minutes later another car bomb exploded
elsewhere in the city. Most of bombs were car bombs and some were in scooters. Three
hotels, the Hotel Sea Rock, Hotel Juhu Centaur, and Hotel Airport Centaur, were
targeted by suitcase bombs left in rooms booked by the perpetrators. Terrorist groups based in
Pakistan were suspected to be responsible for these bombings.
Including
Pakistan terrorist , sujay dutta also
one of person for this blasts,The CBI, on the other hand, pleaded for
enhancement of punishment for 57 convicts. The 1993 blasts case reached the
apex court after pronouncement of verdict by the trial court as under the
Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, now repealed, appeal
could be filed directly in the Supreme Court.
